Abstract
In recent decades, sexual violence on college campuses has become a controversial issue in the United States, involving a wide range of actors including policymakers, higher education institutions, lawyers, activists, and students (to name a few.) Through an analysis of the complex interactions between federal and state law, institutional policies, and systems of gendered power on college campuses, this project aims to uncover why college campuses offer a ripe environment for sexual violence and what can be done to address the problem.
