Date:2012, The biannual report of the Coordinator-General for Remote Services reports on government efforts to address Indigenous disadvantage in the Northern Territory. It takes into account several major initiatives currently in progress, including 'Working Future' and 'Territory Growth Towns' of the Northern Territory government, the national 'Closing the Gap in Indigenous Disadvantage' initiative, and its sub-agreement, the 'National Partnership Agreement on Remote Service Delivery'. This report is for the period June 2011 to August 2012, with the appointment of a new Coordinator-General. It reviews policy and development in teh Northern Territory, and presents recommendations to government in the areas of policy approaches, transparency and accountability, prioritizing investments, and the COAG target areas of community safety, early childhood, education, youth, economic development, leasing, housing and infrastructure, health, and governance and leadership.,
