    • Notes:Caption title from head of page [1].
Bound in a sheet from a contemporary newspaper, ca. 29 May 1781, including news items from around Great Britain and notices of items for sale.
A later note in pencil states that this manuscript was from the Wood family of Mount Stephen, Halberton, Nr Tiverton. Although unverified (no longer visible), this seems more than probable as several extant legal documents record relations between the Woods and the Cowlens at Halberton. This inventory again notes their interaction.
      In English.
Purchased from Dean Byass Manuscripts & Rare Books, March 2018.
