Summary:Investigating death and the power of photography, El día que me quieras is a meditation on the last picture taken of Che Guevara, which was transmitted from Bolivia and published worldwide on October 10, 1967. Katz deconstructs the famous photo taken by Freddy Alborta (1932-2005). Using close-up photography and masking techniques, he re-photographs the image, and poses questions about its content, attempting to reveal the indeterminate powers of photographic representation.
