    • Local Notes:BAC: British Art Center has three copies. Copy 1 in original sheets folded in quires, unsewn. Colored issue in cloth slipcase. Both parts of the British Art Center copy appear to be the second issue of the 1st edition. Second issue of part 1, with the text on white paper; second issue of part II, with the reading "ran out" on page 5, last line. Advertisements usually found in bound copies are not present. Bookplate: Herman LeRoy Edgar. Copy 2 lacks part 2. Illustrations uncolored. First issue. Plate 8 at p. 34 in its first state. Lacks advertising material. Bound in long-grained green morocco. Copy 3 is has both parts in 1 volume. Bound in half green leather and marbled boards. Illustrations uncolored. Part 1 is also first issue. Plate 8 at p. 34 in its first state.       Consists of two parts, both issued in a brown wrapper. Each "Point" has a plate. A 2nd edition of part 1 was issued in the same year as the 1st (1823). The wrappers of both parts are usually dated 1824, but the wrapper of the first issue of the 1st edition is dated 1823. Cf. Cohn.
