A metallic ultrafine particle is known to change by oxidation state. The catalytic activity of the hydrogenation is increased by using the ratio of the Zn/Ni= 0.2 and TiO_2 substrate in this experimental conditions. Furthermore, deposition of these Zn-Ni nanoparticles changes the electrical condition of the TiO_2 semiconductor particles substrate. Zn plays as an electron donor to Ni nanoparticles so that the catalytic activity of Ni is controlled.
