Six types of casting condition were employed to examine the effect of different porosity. Most of fatigue crack sources were the pores. The porosity volume fraction was calculated for all specimens from the three-dimensional X-ray CT images. The fatigue limit of each specimen type was estimated from the fatigue test results.
