A retired sugar worker recalls his father's plantation jobs, camp life in Paauilo, and World War II blackouts. He talks the planting and harvesting sugarcane and his jobs, including field work, cultivating with mules, tractor driving, and mill work. He also talks about accidents, health problems, strikes, and negative changes in the community.
