El mundo como objeto de acción y teoría

Abstract

Ser-en-el-mundo define en Heidegger una situación existencial ontológica práctica que en una primera aproximación caracteriza el conocimiento intelectual y que tiene que ver con la noción husserliana de intencionalidad. En el Curso de Teoría del Conocimiento Polo rectifica este planteamiento subrayando la primacía de la teoría sobre la acción e interpretando la relación práctica (técnica) con el mundo como un nivel inferior del “tener”. Mediante comparaciones con Husserl, Scheler y Jonas con relación al pensamiento de Polo, el artículo presenta diversas nociones de mundo (fenomenológica, metafísica, moral) que permiten clarificar el problema de las relaciones entre la contemplación y la acción en el mundo.

Being-in-the-world defines in Heidegger an ontological and practical existential situation that in a first approach characterizes intellectual knowledge, an approach related to the Husserlian notion of intentionality. In his Curso de teoría del conocimiento, Polo rectifies this characterization, stressing the primacy of theory regarding action, and interpreting the practical (technical) relationship with the world as a lower level of “having”. Making some comparisons between Husserl, Scheler and Jonas, in connection with Polo’s thought, the article presents different accounts of the notion of the world (phenomenological, metaphysical, moral) that allow to clarify the problem of the relationship between contemplation and action in the world.
