Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) answers questions from Colorado constituents during a segment of his For the record radio program on March 21, 1968 in Washington, D.C. Sen. Dominick responds to questions about foreign trade. He states that U.S. trade with communist counties should be increased only for political advantage with the result of bolstering the U.S. economy, promoting improved press access to all countries, and forcing the Soviets to cease selling arms to the Middle East. Dominick suggests that we can use trade agreements to improve relations with the Soviet Union. Answering another question, Dominick notes that wool growers are experiencing economic conditions similar to those of the Depression because of the low parity pricing for wool.
