Abstract |
Minutes of the Board of Governors of the Park Hill Action Committee (PHAC) from a meeting held on June 29, 1964 at the Montview Presbyterian Church in Denver, Colorado. Zoning was discussed, in specific, the issue of the yards of vacant houses where the real estate companies responsible had not provided proper upkeep and allowed the yards to become ''eyesores.'' The letters of complaint to the companies are included with the minutes. Traffic congestion and truck traffic from Colorado Boulevard was mentioned as an issue. Phil Wilcox, the Chairman of Real Estate, made mention of a survey of houses that changed owners twice in the last year. The reports of the PHAC's Blockworker Organization, Membership Sub-Committee, Treasurer's Report, and Report of the 14th Annual Summer Workshop in Leadership Development and Subsequent Recommendations for PHAC are also included.
