This study proposes a new method for cognitive reliability assessment using improved PSFs modelling. Human error become the major part of failure cause in human machine integrated system. The first generation HRA methods approached in practical needs so they are racked of theoretical foundation, and also they did not provide proper tool for analysing cognitive tasks. Later the second generation HRA methods are increasingly dealt cognitive reliability more seriously, and they are developed on the significant theoretical foundation. But the previous studies assumed the PSFs independence. The PSFs dependence effect exist in fact, and the influence should not be ignored. So I have developed an improved PSFs modelling which consider the PSFs dependence. And tested the proposed method with previous methods such as THERP, SLIM, and CREAM. The brilliance of proposed method can not be verified untill the experimental studies on the cognitive tasks are achieved. But the proposed PSFs modelling has advanced theoretically.
