Abstract
This issue begins with a memorial address to Professor G. H. Unwin. Agricultural articles in this issue pertain to rearing Christmas turkeys, a description of the hogs used for Canadian bacon, and the O. A. C. soybean exhibit at the Royal Winter Fair. Student articles include instructions in the Japanese art of ikebana, the beauty of the O. A. C. campus in the winter, unprofitable markets for potatoes, and preparing poultry for showing. Included in this issue are two short stories that address bee keeping in winter and the prodigal son. Campus news reports on faculty changes in the Animal Husbandry Department, seasonal activities of the campus clubs and societies, and social events. Highlighted in the campus news are the winning exhibitors at the Fifth Annual College Royal. The Macdonald Institute column reports on the Seniors Toronto Trip, and provides alumnae updates. The Alumni column provides a reprint of an article by alumnus J. H. McCulloch regarding the late alumnus and war writer Captain George Pearson, and alumni activities.
