Description: Postcard shows the ruins of the Congregational Church on the west side of Wakefield Common. The view is looking east on Church street towards the common. The granite church, built in 1892, was the fourth church on the site. After its destruction by fire a new church of similar design was rebuilt and dedicated in 1912.
