Abstract: My objective in offering this course is to provide you an opportunity to learn something about the study of life in the natural world. This will be a rigorous course in which the honeybee is used as the thread of continuity. That is, throughout the course we will cover material need to answer specific questions dealing with honeybees. Please note, this is not a “Biology of Honeybees” course, but instead, “Biology Through Honeybees”. If you are expecting to learn how apiary management this course will help, but it is not the most appropriate course for you.
