Las competencias socioemocionales dentro de la formación, tanto en niños como en adultos, son básicas para crear ambientes favorables de aprendizaje y prevenir problemas de salud psicológica (Palomera, Fernández-Berrocal y Brackett, 2008). Importante, dado que la tarea docente se enfrentan a diferentes tensiones que hacen peligrar el bienestar, la calidad y la longevidad de la profesión (Lhospital y Gregory, 2009). Por lo que el objetivo del siguiente manuscrito es justificar la importancia de la formación de habilidades socioemocionales, tanto en la formación inicial y permanente del profesorado, como garantía de un desempeño laboral adaptado a las necesidades educativas del alumnado y como factor asociado a la salud psicológica del docente.
Por ello, este manuscrito pretende reforzar la idea de la formación en las habilidades que se integran en la inteligencia emocional, a través de un recorrido entre diversos estudios que muestran las relaciones entre las variables que presentan los docentes que cuentan con competencias socioamocionales y bienestar psicológico, sobre su actividad, gestión y repercusión de su actuación en el aula.
Social-emotional competencies within the training, both in children and adults, are basic to create favorable learning environments and prevent psychological health problems (Palomera, Fernández-Berrocal and Brackett, 2008). Important, given that the teaching task faces different tensions that jeopardize the welfare, quality and longevity of the profession (Lhospital and Gregory, 2009). Therefore, the objective of the following manuscript is to justify the importance of the formation of socio-emotional skills, both in the initial and permanent training of teachers, as a guarantee of a work performance adapted to the educational needs of students and as a factor associated with psychological health of the teacher.
Therefore, this manuscript aims to reinforce the idea of training in skills that are integrated into emotional intelligence, through a journey between various studies that show the relationships between the variables presented by teachers who have socio-emotional skills and psychological well-being, about its activity, management and repercussion of its performance in the classroom.
