My purpose is to present a reflection on the impact of a flâneur’s attitude on Josep Carner’s prose and the adoption of feuilleton techniques and other related forms. Josep Carner’s literary prose was pivotal in his career as a writer until the Spanish Civil War. Collaborations in newspapers were an example of a Noucentista-themed activity — educating and entertaining — in parallel with how Eugeni d'Ors did in the Glossari.
