Biographical and Historical Note

Ernest Wilson Glass is an alumnus of Wake Forest College (1944). He served as pastor of many North Carolina Baptist churches.

The collection includes black and white photographic prints and negatives taken by Glass and others at Wake Forest College, Wake Forest, North Carolina, from 1942-1944. The snapshots are of men and women friends, the Woman's Army Corps of the Army Finance School marching on Gore Field, his Greek class #23, and Professor Thane McDonald.
