- description
- Speaker begins with story about Webster Carroll, missionary to Uganda, and then proceeds to speak about his own personal experience as a missionary to Tanzania. He expresses his gratitude to NC Baptists for their prayers, finances, involvement, and support to foreign missions. He speaks on the importance in today's secular world of continuing financial support to foreign missions. Additionally, he states there is an urgent need for preachers to volunteer to go out into the world and proclaim the gospel in foreign countries.
- This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
