무뇌아의 1례 보고

Abstract

An anencephalous female lfetus. aged 8 fetal months. has been observed and discussed with the other :cases. 1. Acrania and aplasia of the brain tissue were observed without any specific abnormalities except exophthalmos externally. 2. There were foramen magnum and four pairs of bony channels through which vesselsand nerves traversed and ended in the soft tissue that covered the convexed internal surface of the skull base. 3. It was found that the left and right vertebral arteries formed the basilar artery. 4. The hypoplasia of the adrenal gland and the thymus were observed. The thymus had beenhyperplastic in the previous reports.
