A participação nas redes sociais

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem como objectivo criar uma tipologia de participação das entidades nas redes sociais. Para a concretização deste objectivo optou-se pela metodologia intensivaqualitativa, concretizada através de entrevistas a responsáveis de entidades pertencentes ao CLAS (Conselho Local de Acção Social) de Peso da Régua e de uma análise documental alargada. A análise das informações passou sempre pela interligação do acervo teórico apresentado com as técnicas acima descritas. Sendo assim, foi possível estabelecer níveis de complexidade crescente da participação das entidades nas redes sociais e averiguar o tipo de participação subjacente em cada nível. Para além disso, em cada nível descortinado identificou-se as oportunidades e/ou dificuldades da participação das organizações na rede social. Em relação a esta questão constata-se que as principais dificuldades de participação passam por uma integração interorganizacional reduzida de algumas organizações na rede social, nomeadamente porque se situam no mais baixo nível de participação designado de “assistir às reuniões”. Seguidamente, verifica-se que uma das dificuldades passa por um visível hiato entre o que desejam as entidades e o que efectivamente conseguem alcançar na rede social. Por último, os obstáculos de participação relacionam-se com uma carência de técnicos e representantes com a formação e a competência adequada para o trabalho em rede e a verificação que na rede social existem organizações com mais poder do que outras. No entanto, existem oportunidades de participação que devem ser realçadas que passam pela vontade expressa das organizações de exporem os problemas sociais do concelho com propostas com algum grau de sustentabilidade. Contudo, uma recomendação passa pelo reforço da oferta formativa, não só dos técnicos da rede social, mas igualmente dos representantes das organizações e dos seus próprios dirigentes sobre a importância da rede social e sobre a metodologia do trabalho em rede.

This essay aims to create a typology of participation of the entities in social networks. The achievement of this objective has opted for the methodology intensivequalitative, achieved through interviews done to entities responsible of CLAS (Conselho Local de Acção Social) of Peso da Régua and from a documentary examining enlarged. The analysis of the information was always done by the interconnection of the theoretical pile with the referred techniques. As it were, it was possible to establish levels of increasing complexity from entities’ participation on social networks and inquire about the underlining type of participation in each level. Furthermore, in each level discovered it has identified the opportunities and/or difficulties of organisations' participation in the social network. Relating to this issue it appears that the main difficulties of participation are submitted to an interorganizacional integration reduced by some organizations in the social network, particularly because they are located in the lower level of participation nominated as "attending the meetings". Then, it is verified that one of the difficulties pass through a visible gap between what entities desire and what they effectively achieve in the social network. Finally, the obstacles of participation are related to a shortage of technicians and representatives with training and competence appropriate for the networking and verification that there are organizations in the social network with more power than others. However, there are opportunities of participation that should be highlighted that are the expressed desire of organizations to expose the social problems of the municipality with proposals with some sustainability degree. However, a recommendation is the strengthening of formative offer, not only for the technical social networking, but also and equally for the organizations’ representatives and their own leaders by the importance of social network and on the methodology of networking.
