Zusammenfassung (übersetzt):
It seeks to verify which policies promoted the cultivation of Brazilian wheat from the 1970s onwards, and whether such actions resulted in an increase in national production. Although wheat is the main winter crop produced in the country, its cultivation is mostly located in the South and Brazil is unable to meet its domestic demand, making it necessary to periodically import the product, especially from Argentina. It describes the importance that policies for rural credit, rural insurance and the policy of guaranteeing minimum prices have had on wheat production in Brazil. As a result, it was found that wheat occupied the seventh position among the perennial and temporary crops in terms of contracting rural credit for funding in 2019 and, in addition, among the ten main temporary crops, it was the product with the lowest volume of crops. contract credit and with the lowest volume of credit per hectare cultivated, which indicates lower in vestments in culture. In relation to rural insurance, it is noted that the increase in hiring occurs in a reactive manner to the adverse events of the previous harvest, as verified in 2014. Finally, the Minimum Price Guarantee Policy (PGPM) had positive effects on the resumption of production and maintenance of farmers in the Midwest, Southeast and Bahia, especially after the approval of differentiated minimum prices for these regions from the 2016/17 harvest.
