Abstract: This Creative Writing Honors Thesis uses magic as an element within stories of people making their way through their lives as a way of both complicating and solving their various problems. The eight stories are named after cards of the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck as a way to highlight this tie between real and fantastical, life and magic.
