O professor de educação visual, os alunos e as artes visuais : terá o professor de educação visual um contributo importante na escolha das artes visuais pelo aluno?

Resumo
Esta dissertação surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino das Artes Visuais do ensino do 3º ciclo e Ensino Secundário. É composta por duas partes: enquadramento teórico e estudo de resultados através de aplicação de um questionário.
A amostra deste estudo exploratório é constituída por 17 alunos do IPE; 37 alunos do CM; 35 alunos da ESMT e 36 alunos da ESFL.
A metodologia utilizada consistiu na construção e aplicação de um questionário que tem como objetivos verificar a opinião dos alunos sobre qual o papel, influência, métodos de ensino, material didático, orientações motivacionais do Professor de Educação visual do 9ºano de escolaridade e compreender até ponto o professor de artes influencia a escolha de um percurso nas artes visuais. Procurou-se conhecer o modo como os alunos valorizam o professor de EV (Educação Visual) para a escolha futura da área de AV (Artes Visuais) pelo aluno. Alguns fatores decisivos para a importância atribuída ao professor são: Papel influente do professor de EV na escolha pelas AV; Acompanhamento na progressão da aprendizagem do aluno; Incentivo no desenvolvimento das atividades propostas; Planeamento das atividades com base nos interesses dos alunos pela disciplina; Fomentação da colaboração para a aprendizagem do aluno; Importância da motivação e preocupações para a não desmotivação na disciplina; Criatividade; Estimulação dos sentidos; Promoção da autonomia no aluno; Prática de um ensino liberal ou conservador; Importância da relação de abertura e proximidade do professor ao aluno; Ensino aprendizagem e a Pertinência das artes na educação.
Os resultados mostram que embora a maioria dos alunos não pretenda seguir Artes Visuais. Estes são de opinião que uma prática docente alicerçada numa aproximação professor/aluno é fundamental. Igualmente, a instigação dos sentidos e da criatividade através de atividades diferenciadas/ inovadoras, a atenção e incentivos constantes que o professor dá aos alunos, são preponderantes para o gosto e ligação às Artes.
Nas conclusões gerais refletimos sobre a importância das práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas pelo professor de Educação Visual e o seu contributo para a escolha pelas Artes Visuais pelo aluno.
Bem patente está também na opinião dos alunos a importância e influência que o professor de EV tem no gosto do aluno pela disciplina de EV e no contributo que dá para a constante aprendizagem e criatividade dos mesmos.
This work comes as part of the Master in Teaching Visual Arts teaching 3rd cycle and secondary education. It is composed of two parts: theoretical framework and study results through a questionnaire. The sample for this exploratory study consists of 17 students of IPE; 37 CM students, 35 students and 36 students at ESMT. The methodology consisted in the construction and application of a questionnaire that aims to check the students' opinion on the role, influence, teaching methods, teaching materials, motivational orientations Teacher Education Visual 9th grade. Tried to know how students value the teacher EV (Visual Education) for the future choice of area VA (Visual Arts) by the student. Some decisive factors in the importance given to the teacher are: Paper influential teacher in choosing the EV AV; Monitoring the progression of student learning; Encouraging the development of the proposed activities; planning activities based on the interests of students by discipline; Fostering collaboration for student learning; Importance of motivation and demotivation no concerns for the discipline; Creativity; stimulation of the senses; Promoting learner autonomy; Practice of teaching liberal or conservative; Importance of aperture ratio and proximity to the teacher student; Teaching-learning and the relevance of the arts in education. The results show that although most students do not intend to follow Visual Arts, these are of the opinion that a teaching practice approach grounded in a teacher / student is critical. As well as the instigation of the senses and creativity through different activities / innovative, attention and constant incentives that the teacher gives students, are preponderant for taste and connection to the arts. In general conclusions reflect on the importance of teaching practices developed by Professor of Visual Education and its contribution to the choice by the Visual Arts student. Is also evident in the opinion of the students the importance and influence that Professor EV has the taste of student discipline by EV and the contribution it gives to the constant learning and creativity of them.
