É ainda descrita a entrevista
básicos do referido instrumento a problemáticas distintas e diferentes populações.
alcançar a verdade.
This dissertation has for main purpose combining the children’s drawing technique to the Criteria-based Content Analysis (CBCA) a well-known instrument for testimony evaluation, initially used as a solo method of analysis in the interviews of sexually abused children. Thus integrating both a verbal (analysis of statements through CBCA) and a nonverbal component (drawing analysis) in the testimony’s evaluation. It also describes the cognitive interview for previous application of the CBCA, and a possible adaptation of its basic criteria for distinct issues and populations. Some topics of the theme of lie in the field of testimony are analyzed, in the attempt to clarify them, through the comparison of its major detection techniques. For the main errors identified, possible strategies and tools are proposed to overcome them, in order to reach the truth. The study also includes an approach to fundamental characteristics of testimony psychology - which exhibits truth and lie as its foundations – then exploring juspsicológica intervention and its close relation with the law, and finally lead to main psychological processes - which form the basis of everything we see, hear and feel – exerting a strong influence on the truthfulness of a testimony in judicial context. In order to emphasize the role of the forensic psychologist on that context, an intervention proposal is drafted.
