Il patrimonio delle ville di Bagheria, fra storia, conservazione e valorizzazione

The book of M.A. Giusti, “Ville of Lucca, of Italy, of world. Knowlwge and care of country houses and their gardens”, published in Lucca (Italy) in 2016, is the first study that investigates comprehensively the particular typology of the villa and its context, not only in an Italian context, but in the world. Together with the villas of Lucca, which with the association Villas and Palaces of Lucca has promoted the publishing initiative, they have investigated the Venetian villas, Torinesi, of Lazio, the Medici, and Vesuvian those existing in the town Bagheria territory. With the volume of the Giusti, the baroque villas of Bagheria and late baroque are inserted in the vast cultural panorama of suburban residences in the world. The essay: “The heritage of the villas of Bagheria between history, conservation and development” is a contribution to the knowledge and therefore the maintenance and conservation through sustainable and compatible new use of this heritage.

Il volume di M.A. Giusti (a cura di), Ville lucchesi, d’Italia, del mondo Conoscenza e cura delle dimore di campagna e dei loro giardini, pubblicato a Lucca nel 2016, rappresenta il primo studio che indaga in maniera completa la particolare tipologia della villa e il suo contesto, non solo in un ambito italiano, ma nel mondo. Assieme alle ville lucchesi, che con l’associazione Ville e Palazzi di Lucca ha promosso l’iniziativa editoriale, sono indagate le ville Venete, Torinesi, del Lazio, quelle Medicee, Vesuviane e quelle esistenti nel territorio del comune di Bagheria. Con il volume della Giusti, le ville barocche e tardo barocche di Bagheria vengono inserite nel vasto panorama culturale delle residenze suburbane del mondo. Il saggio: Il patrimonio delle ville di Bagheria fra storia, conservazione e valorizzazione rappresenta un contributo per la conoscenza e dunque la conservazione, mediante la manutenzione e la sostenibile e compatibile nuova destinazione d’uso di questo patrimonio.
