The eruption of Bali's Mt Agung has resulted in severe disruption to tourism in Indonesia's popular holiday Island province. The mass cancellation of air services due to volcanic ash has led to many travelers being stranded and this has caused a lot of dissatisfaction from tourists who were confused by mixed messages about the trouble free travel in Bali. The Bali Tourism Board all but ignored the disruptive impact of the volcanic activity on tourists until November 27. This has compromised the reputation of Bali's tourism industry.
