This result agrees with the authors\u0027 previous experiment, and shows that a normal size corm does not require any fertilizer for flower production. The numbers of corm and cormel harvested were increased when supplied with potassium together with phosphate, especially after flowering, and more large size corms were produced with the nutrient combination of potassium and nitrogen or whole three elements.
