Some studies on polyaniline and its composites

Abstract

Tremendous advances have been made during the past decade in our understanding of the Physics, chemistry, electrochemistry, structure, electrical and optical phenomena, processing and applications of conducting polymers. This constantly growing solid scientific foundation continues to disclose new emerging chemistry and physical properties of these materials which present a vast area of as yet unexplained or incompletely understood phenomena. The very great interest in these polymers is due largely to their relative ease of synthesis by chemical or electrochemical oxidative polymerization of the monomers and to their very considerable potential technological importance.
