In a case study, the researcher studies in detail the various newlineaspects of a single person, institution or any phenomenon.However, the researcher has used secondary sources of data for the purpose of newlineanalysis. The Annual Reports published by NABARD, the bulletins and newsletters newlineof NABARD, the bulletins published by The Reserve Bank of India are used for the newlinestudy. Various books, journals, articles from newspapers, periodicals, and various newlineonline journals etc. are used as sources of data collection. The researcher has newlineconsidered the period of 12 years from 2005-06 to 2016-17 for the study. The Annual newlineReports published by NABARD provide an in-depth analysis on refinancing newlineoperations. Thus it is a significant source of data from the point of view of analysis newlineThe prime focus of this research was on performance evaluation of NBRD newlinewith special reference to refinancing operations. The researcher has use data newlinepublished in annual reports of NABARD. The refinance provided by NABARD is newlinebroadly classified into three types i.e. Agency wise refinance, Region wise refinance newlineand Purpose wise refinance for the sake of better understanding. The simple statistical newlinetools like averages, percentiles and ratios are used for analysis of data.
