Abstract

West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF/ WECARD) is coordinating the project on Climate Change Adaptation for Africa (CCAA) funded by the International Development Research Center (IDRC). The project aims at reducing vulnerability to climate change through research and capacity building. Research gaps identified by participants focus on data generation, data analysis, impact analysis, and on research methods and tools. Participants also noted that there are gaps in policy addressing cross-cutting impacts of climate change in various domains (for example, water – urbanization - industrialization).
