Fever in children is one of the most common reasons for pediatric reattendance in Accident and Emergency department (AED). These children who reattend to AED contribute to overcrowding, which may reflect the generalized deterioration of service quality in the public emergency healthcare system. As a result, the designed study is to determine the characteristics of febrile children who were admitted the local AED and reattended with a similar complaint within 72 hours by comparing the reattend and non-reattend group.
