Abstract
Illustrated Civil War envelopes with patriotic symbols, slogans and cartoons, mostly Northern, including a few Southern ones.
Description
Military encampment with soldier's tents surrounding the headquarters tent, which has a Union flag flying from it. There is a soldier in a very early Union uniiform to the left of the encampment. The state seal of New York is to the left of the soldier. A Federal (Bald) eagle with the banner E Pluribus Unum" in its beak is residing on top of the New York state seal."
