Resumen/Abstract
RESUMEN: El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es conocer la situación en la que se encuentra el sector de la telefonía móvil en España, después de la crisis económica iniciada en 2008, mediante un análisis económico y financiero de los operadores que tienen red propia y las medidas que las empresas están tratando de adaptar para volver a crecer.
Para llevar a cabo el objetivo anteriormente citado, este trabajo se ha estructurado en ocho capítulos.
En el primero de ellos se realiza una pequeña introducción a cerca del sector de la telefonía móvil en España.
En el segundo se presenta la evolución que ha experimentado el sector de la telefonía móvil, desde el primer teléfono móvil conocido como Teléfono Automático en Vehículos y explotado por la CTNE (Telefónica) en régimen de monopolio, hasta la actualidad con la llegada de las redes 4G y la planificación de las redes 5G para su puesta en marcha en 2020.
En el tercer capítulo se presentan las principales características del sector de las telecomunicaciones en la actualidad y cómo ha evolucionado tras la crisis económica, mediante la representación de gráficos.
En el cuarto capítulo se exponen las medidas que están tomando o deberían tomar los operadores de telefonía móvil para que en un futuro el sector de la telefonía móvil vuelva a crecer.
En el quinto capítulo se presenta una reseña histórica y las principales características de las empresas utilizadas para realizar el análisis económico y financiero.
En el sexto capítulo, se realiza un análisis financiero a corto y largo plazo, desde el año 2010 a 2014, de las principales empresas del sector con sus correspondientes tablas de cálculos y gráficos para facilitar la comparación. Los ratios empleados son: Fondo de maniobra, solvencia, liquidez inmediata, tesorería, garantía, endeudamiento y autonomía financiera.
En séptimo capítulo, se realiza un análisis económico mediante el estudio de la rentabilidad económica y financiera de las principales empresas del sector, desde el año 2010 a 2014, mediante tablas de cálculos y gráficos para facilitar la comparación.
Por último, en el octavo capítulo se presentan las principales conclusiones alcanzadas tras la realización del trabajo y las medidas que deberían tomar para un mayor crecimiento del sector.
ABSTRACT: The main goal of this end of degree Project is to know the situation of the mobile telephony sector in Spain after the economic crisis that began in 2008, through an economic and financial analysis of the mobile network operators and the measures that the companies are trying to adapt to grow again.
In order to carry out the above mentioned objective, this project has been structured in eight chapters.
In the first of the chapters makes a brief introduction about the mobile telephony sector in Spain.
The second one presents the evolution experienced by the mobile telephony sector, from the first mobile phone known as automatic mobile in vehicles and operated by the CTNE (Telefónica) as a monopoly, until now with the advent of the 4G network and the 5G network planning to launch in 2020.
The third chapter presents the main characteristics of the telecommunications sector nowadays and how it has evolved following the economic crisis by representing graphs.
The fourth chapter follows the measures that the mobile operators have been or should be taken so that the telephony sector grows back in the future.
In the fifth chapter a historical review and the main characteristics of the companies used for the economic and financial analysis is presented.
In the sixth chapter will be carried out a financial analysis in the short and long term, from 2010 to 2014, of the mobile network operators with their calculation tables and charts for an easy comparison. The ratios used are: working capital, solvency, liquidity, cash flow, collateral, debt and financial autonomy.
In the seventh chapter will be carried out an economic analysis by studying the Return on Assets (ROA) and Return of Equity (ROE) of the mobile network operators, since 2010 to 2014, using calculation tables and charts for an easy comparison.
Finally, in the eighth chapter, the main conclusions reached after the completion of the Project and the measures to be taken for further growth in the sector are shown.
