Description

The workshop Data Management and legal and ethical issues offered by Pawel Kamocki (CLARIN centre Mannheim) and Thorsten Trippel (CLARIN centre Tübingen) directly builds on top of the CLARIN expertise on data management and legal issues. The data management addresses the development of data management plans in cooperation with CLARIN centres, description of research resources in using the ISO 24622-1 (CMDI) framework in the process of data management, utilizing the COMEDI editor developed by the Norwegian CLARIN centre in Bergen,  PID handling with different methods  and possible issues, especially emphasizing the handle system and its role for citation of resources. As the data management involves many legal and ethical expertise of the CALRIN legal helpdesk and the White Paper Series will be used for the part on legal and ethical issues of data management.
