Während der Forschung über die mögliche Vorbilder für die Stuckdekoration im Lustschloss Stern, 1555-1560, haben Autoren die Aufmerksamkeit der Ausstattung der Loggia in der Villa Lante in Rom (Bauherr Baldassare Turini, zwischen 1520-1530) gewidmet. Die nahe Verwandschaft mit dem Lustschloss Stern ist sowohl in der Form, als in der antikisierenden Thematik der Stuckdekoration feststellbar. Sehr ähnlich wirken aber auch die Kompositionen der Umrahmung der Szenen.

During the research about possible patterns for the stucco ceilings in the summer palace Star, authors concentrated on the outstanding decoration in the loggia of the villa Lante, built by Baldassare Turini, roughly betweeen 1520-1530. Close connection to the Star villa could be seen not only in the formal qualities of the stucco decoration, but as well in the topic with motifs taken from the antiquity. Also the composition of the framing parts looks very similar.
