The tests based on wavelet processing of digital seismological data are here presented. Evaluation of character of wavelet packet decompositions using five types of wavelets is the first presented task. Determination of threshold levels for smothing of signals without both modifications of wave patterns and losses of substantial information is the next discused problem.
