Flow structure in relatively narrow channels has a strong 3D character with complex flow phenomena, incl. regions of localized separation, various vortical structures, etc., all of which have to be considered when dealing with the problem of supersonic-subsonic transition. three problems were considered: the effect of channel width, transition in a pseudoshock wave, flow near the critical cross section.
