A direct simulation of the physiological regulatory mechanisms is rather difficult. A simple method to control the RP performance can be based on a comparison of the relation 'cardiac output - heart rate' for the failing heart and the physiologically working one. The problem of the left ventricular assist device (LVAD) was analyzed by mathematical means and the results were applied for a control of a mock-line circuit.
