A gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method for the determination of 7-hydroxy-metabolites of pregnenolone, dehydroepiandrosterone, androstenediol, and testosterone including the parent steroids was applied to serum samples from 12 adult men (27-66 years), 13 male adolescents (13-20 years), 5 boys (6-10 years), 15 women in the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle (22-45 years), 17 women in the luteal phase (22-45 years), and 4 girls (6-10 years).

Metoda plynové chromatografie-hmotnostní spektrometrie pro stanovení 7-hydroxylovaných metabolitů pregnenolonu, dehydroepiandrosteronu, 3beta,17beta-androstendiolu a testosteronu včetně matečných steroidů byla užita pro stanovení ve vzorcích séra od 12 mužů (27-66 let), 13 dospívajících mladíků (13-20 let), 5 chlapců (6-10 let), 15 žen ve folikulární fázi menstruačního cyklu (22-45 let), 17 žen v luteální fázi (22-45 let) a 4 dívek (6-10 let).
