This study is concerned with the effect of pulsed laser light on selected cell structures of the protozoan Blepharisma undulans undulans. For these experiments, ultra-short pulse laser light was used because it produces selective destruction of cell components at the site of irradiation without damaging the surrounding structures.

Tato studie se zabývá vlivem pulsního laserového záření na vybranou buněčnou strukturu prvoků Blepharisma undulans undulans. Pro tyto experimenty byly použity ultra krátké laserové pulsy, protože poškozují buněčnou strukturu pouze v místě zásahu a nemají vliv na okolní strukturu.
