V úvodu prezentace jsou připomenuty definice formální, sociální (deskriptivní) a předmětné reprezentace od Pitkinové, přes Petersona až po jejich aplikace v pracích Offerdala et al. a Ilnnera. Studie vzešlé z projektů Local Democracy and Innovation I a II dokumentují posun zájmu badatelů od sociální reprezentace k třem stylům reprezentace (delegate, trustee, politico). V závěrečné části je na empirických příkladech demonstrována trvající relevance zkoumání sociálně-deskriptivní reprezentace a jejích souvislostí s realizovanými politikami. Tento typ reprezentace dobře dokumentuje stabilizaci lokálních politických elit i pohyby na úrovni krajských zastupitelstev.

The presentation reminds definitions of formal, social (descriptive) and subject representation from Pitkin and Peterson and its aplications in the work of Offerdal et al. and Illner. The studies coming out of the projects Local Democracy and Innovation I and II illustrate the movement of the interest of scholars from social representation to three styles of representation (delegate, trustee, politico). In the conclusion the lasting relevance of the research of social descriptive representation and its coherence with policy is demonstrated on the empirical examples. This type of representation illustrates stabilisation of the local political elites and the changes of the regional representations.
