In this paper, we study the main approaches to development of multichannel SPR sensors including conventional SPR sensors with parallel sensing channels and recently developed SPR sensors based on multi-surface-plasmon spectroscopy, and compare their performance in terms of their ability to compensate for interferences and discriminate specific sensor response from interference effects.
