A model of solid-liquid phase change with surface and kinetic effects based on the phase-field method. A special coupling term in the equations proposed by the author makes the model more efficient and allows to enter a quantitative simulation of microstructure growth. Additionally the asymptotical behaviour of the solution with respect to the small parameter is studied.
