V příspěvku je problematika počítačové gramotnosti nejprve zasazena do kontextu nejnovějších poznatků v oblasti zkoumání vzdělanostních nerovností se zaměřením na utváření vzdělanostních aspirací. Dále je charakterizována situace ohledně počítačové gramotnosti v České republice v mezinárodním srovnání. Hlavní pozornost je věnována analýzám provedených na datech z mezinárodního výzkumu PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) za ČR. V rámci PISA 2003 byla zjišťována deklarovaná počítačová gramotnost žáků. Prostřednictvím lineární regresní analýzy nebyl prokázán významný vliv úrovně počítačové gramotnosti na aspirace žáků studovat na vysoké škole.

The computer literacy issue is presented in the context of current findings in the field of educational aspirations formation in this paper. The situation in the Czech Republic is briefly characterized in an international comparison as far as level of computer literacy is concerned. The main focus of the paper is on analysis of PISA 2003 data for the Czech Republic. The so called declared computer literacy was traced within the PISA survey. Some strong influence of computer literacy on university aspirations of the pupils was not proved through the linear regression analysis.
