The first comprehensive work on visual culture in the environment of the Unity of Brethren from the late 15th century to the early 17th century. The study analyses texts written by the Unity about paintings, as well as with actual implementations that prove the clash between theory and practice, seeking to interpret the phenomenon.

První souborné zpracování problematiky vizuální kultury v prostředí Jednoty bratrské od konce 15. do počátku 17. století. Studie se zabývá rozborem textů vzniklých v Jednotě věnovaných obrazům a dále skutečným realizacím dokládajícím rozpor mezi teorií a praxí a pokouší se tento fenomén interpretovat.
