The paper deals with the post-processing treatment of MR images in the examination of temporomandibular joints. An increase in contrast corresponding to the relaxation time of cores T2 in the MR image and enhancement of arthritic areas of diseased temporomandibular point were obtained by wavelet transform digital filtering and by processing two MR images measured at difeerent echo times. The enhanced area indicates arthritic changes in the temporomandibular joint, which will be compared with the results of arthroscope examination.

Článek se zabývá post-procesingovým zpracováním MR obrazu při vyšetřování čelistního kloubu. Zvýšení kontrastu T2 v artiritických oblastech je dosaženo waveletovou digitální filtrací a zpracováním obrazů měřených v různých echo časech.
