The Aarhus Convention requires the Parties to guarantee to members of the public the procedural rights of information, participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters. The workshop focused on summarization of the current situation in implementation of the Aarhus Convention in the countries involved in the project (all of them being at the same time the Parties of the Convention) and on their comparison, including identification of the main problem areas and outlining possible paths to their resolution.
