Text stopuje ozvuky pojmu pospolitosti v tradici kritické teorie a v dílech českých autorů. Jako východisko volí teorii odcizení, které může být negativním protipólem pospolitosti. Škála významů odcizení je pestrá, a patří sem též rozpad, fragmentace lidského společenství. Česká recepce probíhá zejm. skrze práce Taylora a Honnetha. Z originálních českých příspěvků je největší pozornost věnována Hrubcově teorii.

The text follows traces of community that can be found in the tradition of critical theory, and in the works of Czech authors, who contribute to this tradition. As the point of departure serves the theory of alienation, which could be understood as a community inverted. Alienation has plenty of meanings, and one of them is collapse, fragmentation of human communities. Czech reception is shown on works of Taylor and Honneth, which were introduced to this language. Among original Czech contributions it is the theory of Hrubec, which gets primary attention.
