Kapitola pojednává o základních trasách romské azylové migrace po roce 1990 a publikuje reakce české politické reprezentace i reakce politických reprezentací v cílových zemích. Zvláštní pozornost věnuje Zdeněk Uherek migracím do Kanady, která byla pro českou politickou reprezentaci zvláště ožehavým tématem. Zdeněk Uherek se v kapitole věnuje též ekonomické migraci Romů, zejména migraci do Velké Británie, která je největší cílovou destinací Romů z České republiky.

The chapter shows basic routes of asylum migration, the most frequent destinations of Roma from the Czech Republic and the reaction of the Czech political scene, the public and the reaction of the representatives in target countries. He also pays special attention to migration to Canada, which was especially hot topic for the Czech Republic. In the chapter Zdenek Uherek also deals with economic migrations. Here he predominantly focuses on the situation in Great Britain, which is the greatest target destination of Roma from the Czech Republic.
